Any Team can win the Playoffs except the Los Angeles Lakers

May 3, 2010

I dislike the Lakers so much!! When i was younger i did like the lakers, but that was only because my dad made us ban-wagon with him. the Lakers as a whole was cool when they had Shaq, Robert Horry, Ron Harper, and the “unselfish Kobe Bryant!! But since Shaq and all of those guys left i Left!! Kobe is the captain of his team and he is a great basketball player, but i don’t like that he plays like a baby on the court. I was raised to be tough. When Kobe is on the floor he drives to the bucket and wants to get every foul even if he just tapped with a little contact. i like the strong players like Lebron, Josh Smith, and Amare Stoudemire. This is the kind of ball i like to see being played, not this acting to get the call from the referees. And since i became a Dallas Maverics fan i really don’t want the Lakers to win this years championship because we were put out. Now, don’t get me mixed up or put words in my blogs, but i didn’t say that i don’t like Kobe as a player because he is one of the greats. Nevertheless, i don’t like his style of basketball and all of the acting he does on the court just to look good.

This is the way Kobe plays!!!......."LIKE A BABY!!!!!"

Cereal at ANYTIME!!!!!

April 5, 2010

Some people say that cereal is for breakfast only. Well from my perspective i believe that cereal can be eaten at anytime or anywhere no matter if its day, night time,or place. I can get a craving for cereal and milk at 2:00 a.m. and eat about two or three bowls. And it takes no time for me to eat a whole box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch to myself. Now those who know what i’m talking about when i say you can eat cereal at anytime know what i mean when i say its make a great snack, but those who just leave their cereal on their refrigerators, or in a pantry needs to experience a cold bowl of cereal when you wake up at 2:00 in the morning and you don’t feel like cooking or microwaving some food. Cereal does the body GOOOOD!!!

Therefore i do have favorite cereals of all time since i was a little kid and they are: Captain Crunch original, Captain Crunch Berries, Apple Jacks, Fruity Pebbles, Cheerios, Reese’s Puff Cereal, Fruit Loops, my all time favorite is Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and i even love Granola cereals like Banana Nut cereal and Oats and Honey Cereal.

So for those that think cereal is only supposed to be eaten at breakfast time needs to get a rude awakening from this blog because cereal taste good at anytime of the day. especially when you are eating one of your favorite cereals int the world!!

Many of you may not agree but i do have a small list of cereals that are just nasty and i do not like to eat them! And they are: Raisin Bran Plain Rice Krispies Cereal

And last but not least the most nastiest cereal on my list is………………………………Waffle Crisps!!!! NASSSSTTTYYY!!! Whoever enjoys a bowl of this…more power to you. This has been a nasty cereal since i was young and i didn’t like since i was a little kid and that was back in the 90’s!!!!

Campus Life

April 5, 2010

Campus life is only for the strong!!! you have to be able to survive and provide for yourself because you are leaving your parents or guardians wings. My mother told me that, “when you all golf off to college you are basically poor.” I really didn’t understand what she was saying until i finally got to college. I had little money, a small room, little food, and no transportation. i basically survive off of my mother and father when they send me money, or when i get any little money i get my hands on. As far as food goes, every college student around the United states know that the number one college food to eat is “Ramen Noodles.” The noodle company makes so much money just off of college students its ridiculous. Its crazy because i didn’t eat noodles back at home before i came to college but now its like when in doubt get the Noodles Out!!!

I have seen a lot of weird things on campus that i know 100 percent sure i would not have seen if i was at home. i have seen more Gay men and woman than i have ever seen in my life, i have seen Atheist who totally disrespect god and things he has done, girls and guys having sex more than eat in a day just because they away from home, and jus some of the most shocking things i have ever seen in my life that can’t be explained on this blog. I have lived on the Vincennes University campus for almost 2 years now. It has been fun and frustrating at the same time. It has been fun because i am what you can call a strong guy who can take care of himself. My mother told me that sh knew i w could go and live on my own at the age of fifteen. So now that i am away for school she knows that i am okay because of the life training she prepared my brothers and i with. therefore i handle all of the problems that this campus life brings with maturity and smart tactics.

Nevertheless the campus life is for the strong! Many high school students are ready to leave home and get away by going to college, but if i were them i would not be in a hurry because it is a lot of freedom but with freedom comes great responsibility.

Whip Game Proper

March 10, 2010

They say dogs are a mans best friend, but I resent that remark! A mans price possession and friend is his car. A few other names for car where im from are whip, donk, wheels, and doolie, but no matter what you call it if you earned the money to buy that car and you take care of it then you can call it whatever you want.

I have a love for cars because of my dad. he was a mechanic for many years back from when he was younger to now. He has so many stories about his past cars, races, and even crashes that he has expirienced in his lifetime.

One of my favorite cars that he said he had the privilidge of having was a 1970 Roadrunner!
This was one of my dads most prized possessions. He told me so many stories on how when he started it up people could hear it from blocks and blocks away. The image above is only a replica of the Roadrunner my dad had. My father’s had a giant blower on the front with side skirts and all kinds of things. But he also told how he lost the car. It was sad ro hear that he put it in a friends back yard and his so called friend got the car towed without telling my dad. His excuse was, “it was sitting back there too long!” I asked my dad what did he do to this guy for getting his baby towed? and he said, “nothing.” I could not believe it! I told him if I was him i would have towed his face then took him to the pound and make him pay to get my car out of the lot!

Now a days everybody wants rims on their cars. I live in Gary, In. If anybody comes to my city you would probablly see at least 3 to 4 Chevy’s sittin up about 4 to 6 inches, candy paint, colored interior, and all the works.

The Dallas Mavericks…Dirk Nowitzki!!

March 6, 2010

I have been a Dallas Mavericks fan since 2004!…I becane a fan of them when i first played NBA Live 2004 for Playstation. I didnt know who was exactly on the team, but this one player seemed to have hit every shot and i was amazed with his game. His name was Dirk Nowitzki. Dirk was born in Wurzburg, Germany on Jun 19, 1978. He is a 7’0 tall and has been a pro for 11 years. The main reason i like the Mavericks is because of Dirk Nowitzki. Why do i like Dirk Nowitzki you may ask? It is obvious, He is 7’0 tall, can dribble like a guard, is a deadly shooter from all angles, he is currently the best free-throw shooter in the NBA, most of all he is the most unguardable Power Forward in the League!

The Barbershop (Styles Are Endless!!) for Men

March 3, 2010

This is one of the many different hairstyles that you can get. this is the famous rapper Chris Bridges a.k.a. Ludachris. he has the style of getting designs in his facial hair. in order to get one of these designs you must have a long length of sideburns and of course facial hair.

This is where it all happens, The Barber Chair!! you sit in this comfortable chair for however long your haircut takes. there are different types of barber chairs that barbers use depending on the shop you are at.

African Americans and Caucasians have different textures of hair. for instance, my hair is kinda rough and thick, therefore, a Caucasian males hair is more smooth and thin. If i wanted to grow my hair out it would take a while and it would grow out into an Afro. If a Caucasian male was to grow his hair out it would not take as long and it would not grow out into an Afro but long and straight.

In the 1970’s afros were the most popular hairstyles for african Americans.

The Afro was not just a mans hairstyle, but it was also for woman. Many African American woman wore the Afro just as much as men.

When i was young i had no control of my haircuts and hair styles. My oldest brother would always get the coolest hair cuts. My father and mother would always make me and my little brother get the most ugliest haircuts. I remember when we got the chilli bowls, bald fades, and when my mom used to cut our hair Patches. This is an example of a bald fade(one of my worst fears of haircuts when i got in the barber chair.)
As i got older i began to have a taste for designer haircuts. When i was in high school i got my first designer haircut my freshman year of high school. It was a Double Lining style of hair. It seemed like every since I got this haircut many of the different guys at my school started to get this cut…I guess you can say that i started a trend!!

Nevertheless i was hooked after i got this designer haircut. i just searched and searched for different types of designer haircuts, and i came up with the Mohawk. Before i got this Mohawk i thought i was going to get laughed at because it was an exotic hairstyle, i got this haircut my junior year of high school. The price was like 2 times more but i did pay the price and i received what i paid for. it was one of the best haircuts that i got in my life!!

When i graduated from high school i began to grow my hair so i could get dreadlocks and braids. i began to grow my hair on June 4, 2008, which was the day that i graduated from high school. i grew my hair out for a year and two months.<del

These are some of the styles that i had when my hair was long!!

Shoe Game Crazy!!

March 3, 2010

I am not too much hooked on how much a shoe costs, but i base my choices on if the shoe fits, if it has the color i would prefer, and the if it matches my outfit. Shoes

When I was young I didnt have all of the top name brand shoes. I didn’t wear the Timberlands that were $145, i wore the State Streets that were $50 at payless. But what i always did since i was young was wear my shoes like they were $145 Timberlands. And of course as i got older those State Streets were not exceptable any more. i had to find make a way and get some better quality shoes.
When I was about 12 or 13 i began to where the famous first basketall shoe, which were the Converse All-Stars created by Chuck Taylor. thes shoes came in many different colors, and i used to love to wear them as a young teenager. Chuck Talor were Bad for playing basketball in unless you wore anckle braces, but they were sure goo for style back when i was in middle and my freshmen year of high school. This was a very popular shoe and most of the girls and boys wore these shoes all the time.
